Exhibition at Pictura Gallery
Pictura Gallery at the FAR Center for Contemporary Arts in Bloomington, IN is exhibiting “Inheritance” from January 8th to February 26th, 2020. Though it’s a physical exhibition you can see during gallery hours, because of COVID we’re having a virtual opening on Friday, January 8th at 6pm EST. You can tune in via Pictura’s Facebook Live for a brief conversation between myself and Co-Curator Lisa Woodward and a video tour of the show. There’s also this great outdoor mural:

Fall Updates
I’m the “Gold Artist” in ArtAscent Magazine’s 45th issue, themed Isolation.
“Nocturne 8” is included in “Chasing Ghosts,” a group exhibition at Verum Ultimum Art Gallery in Portland, OR. The exhibit opens in late October, but things being what they are, there won’t be an opening reception. The gallery is open for scheduled, in-person viewings.

Recent News
My large installation, Inheritance, was included in the new textbook “Photography: A 21st Century Practice” by Chelsea Shannon and Mark Chen. Because of the pandemic, the physical book isn’t available yet, though the ebook is. Here’s a screen shot of the page:

I also have a pinhole image I shot during the quarantine in the Houston Center for Photography’s “Togethering” virtual exhibition. Please take a look.
