The photographs in Stillness are a curling inward to the shelter of home. Made with pinhole film cameras, they are multi-hour exposures of interiority – a living room seen from multiple angles at once, a makeshift artist studio, a strange adaptation to forced on-line interaction and physical distancing. Recorded during times of uncertainty and dread, the photographs record that even during periods of enforced stillness, we are never truly still. Ā
